Tradition

Shinwa has proud record of achievement in the field of measurement.

The importance of measurement has grown along with civilization. Shinwa will enhance the development of both through constant innovation.

 Measuring came into being as a means to determine the size of things. As civilization developed, measuring became more sophisticated. The history of measuring began with the ancient Oriental cubit, Western European span, Middle Eastern yard and pound, and the shakkan in China.
 Japan developed its own measurement standards. In 1876, shakkan weight and measures were adopted. Japan later signed the international Metric System Agreement, the system used throughout the country today. Virtually every country now uses the metric system.
 Measuring has progressed in response to changing needs. Now, if only a "ruler" to calculate the future could be developed, planning for tomorrow would be much simpler.

Shinwa makes every effort to create better products using new values in cooperation with Shinwa Dalian factory to assure constant growth.

 

In this age of internationalization and establishment of overseas office, Shinwa is keeping pace by  setting up a daughter company in Dalian, People's Republic of China.
 Shinwa Rules (Dalian) Ltd. will serve the growing demands of the Chinese market, as well as Hong Kong and other areas in southeast Asia. Shinwa Rules (Dalian) Ltd. will also be involved in designing and producing new products especially for these markets and elsewhere.
